In the blink of an eye, 2019 has come to a close. Thank you for making 2019 such a successful year for RSF! We appreciate you and consider you part of our RSF family. Update on our Expansion

We've broken ground on our warehouse expansion! Currently, earth is being moved and our crew is creating the strongest foundation for our new warehouse. We'll keep you updated on our progress as we hope for dry weather in the next couple of months to keep us on schedule.

FedEx and UPS Rate Changes for 2020

 

Every year, UPS and FedEx announce new shipping rates. This can include changes that have big effects on order fulfillment and shipping, such as new DIM factors for calculating dimensional weight pricing. The 2020 shipping rates are higher than the 2019 rates for both UPS and FedEx. This is not unexpected.

DIM Weight Changes to USPS Shipping Rates

In the summer of 2019, the US Postal Service changed the way it calculates shipping charges. The USPS has added new dimensional weight pricing. As a result, USPS shipping rates for some packages will increase substantially. The USPS shipping change happened during a relatively slow time of the year. During the busy holiday season, shippers may get an unwelcome surprise when they see the price tag for their USPS shipping.
